Club Vers with a focus on fresh, healthy and delicious. This one of my favorite hotspots in The Hague. We like to come here for lunch.

Club Vers

Club Vers in The Hague has been around since April 2016. It is a super nice hotspot that is located near the railway station The Hague Holland Spoor. Their shop is decorated in a homely atmosphere, with the necessary 1.5 meters away and other adjustments due to the Corona crisis this year. You can go to Club Vers for breakfast, brunch, high tea, lunch and drinks.

Something for everyone: fresh, healthy and delicious

Club Vers is all about fresh, healthy, tasty food and drinks. Their menu happens to consist mostly of vegetarian and vegan food, but that is seen as an extra plus. This is actually an ideal place for vegetarians and vegans. In addition, the food is wonderfully colorful and beautifully presented.If you want a piece of meat, this is also possible with spicy beef burger or grilled chicken sandwich. If you still want fish, they have the popular specialty spinach waffle with smoked salmon or salmon poké bowl or salmon sandwich. If you have special dietary requirements or allergies, they also take this into account if you indicate to them in advance. Something for everyone!

Spinach waffle with smoked salmon and fried egg

We tried their popular specialty spinach waffle with smoked salmon and fried egg. The waffle is beautifully green in color, soft on the inside with a balanced spinach flavor. On the wafer is a slice of smoked salmon with a fried egg on top and a sauce over it. It is a savory dish that tastes delicious with all ingredients combined.

Poké Bowl with salmon

The famous poke bowl with fresh salmon, sushi rice, dressing and vegetables. This is always good as long as the sushi rice is well cooked and the salmon is fresh and that was also the case at Club Vers.

Red waffle with raspberry mousse and fresh raspberries

We tasted the savory variant waffle, but also the sweet waffle variant. The wafer is red in color from the raspberry juice. The inside of the wafer is also soft because it is freshly baked. It is beautifully presented with an airy raspberry mousse and a vanilla dressing on top. All in all, it is completely balanced in taste. It is not too sweet but just right.

We also tried out their two types of mocktails. This is an alcohol-free cocktail. Club Vers is a hotspot that is definitely recommended!
